Depending on the subscription you are choosing, the helpers need a smartphone in order to have some functions available. 


If you choose the FRIENDS & FAMILY subscription, the helpers need a smartphone to get a push notification of the alert, to locate and to call the wearer via the SmartWatcher® app.


If you choose the FRIENDS & FAMILY PLUS subscription, the helpers will receive a call (both on mobile and/or landline phones) in case of an emergency and they only need a smartphone if they want to locate the wearer via the SmartWatcher® app.
